Tomorrow is the day that I will finally start off to Sweden, so today I mainly spent packing the rented van and some last belongings to get everything ready.

I started the day off taking some last pictures in our garden, that was covered in frost this morning. What a beautiful sight to wake up to and start the day!

After that we started packing my stuff into the van. At first it looked like this:

Lots of space to be filled with loads of household items and my personal belongings!! 🙂 And then we started packing… Luckily I had the help of my family and wasn’t alone in this, I wouldn’t have managed to get it all done today if it wasn’t for them! In the video below you can see a glimpse of how we started out in the morning, but we kept on going until the late afternoon!

My dad would arrange and rearrange the things inside the van, while we would continuously bring him stuff… Sometimes I would go back to packing more boxes, for which wasn’t enough room before, as boxes were everywhere in the house. But it all turned out to work perfectly and in the end the van was full:

After finishing packing, we had dinner together and took some christmas photos of our family. We always love to share memories, but rarely think of taking pictures all of us together, but today we remembered. So here’s a ppicture of me trying to adjust all the settings of the camera:

Now I will continue spending time with my family. And since so many people asked me this today: of course I am super excited, I don’t know if I will be able to even close my eyes tonight or find some rest/ get to sleep, but I will do my best. We will start our journey tomorrow at 6:00h in the morning and I can’t believe it’s already less than 12 hours left :O
While on one hand I am super excited and nervous about it, on the other hand I can’t get a grip on what’s happening and that I am moving tomorrow already. I hope I got everything I need and didn’t overlook anything major (stuff my nightmares are made of at the moment). But I am positive that for any problem that can possibly arise, there will be a solution to find.

Thank you to everyone who is encouraging me and rooting for me to do well. I am astounded by the number of people who are wishing me well and asking how I am doing and who are so interested in what I am doing!! I am so sorry about how bad I am currently at responding to you personally and in detail, but I am hoping to make up for it a bit on here 🙂
