Autumn

Within what felt like the blink of an eye, summer was over and autumn was in a rush to turn into winter.

I still can’t believe how fast this summer was over and yet how much has happened!

I have reached my goal of picking 1l of every berry – blueberries, lingonberries, raspberries, black currants and cloudberries! And I even picked a huge bag of mushrooms yesterday, which I am so incredibly happy over!

Now both nights and days have become so much darker. In the last 2 weeks, there were basically only clouds and rain, which have really drained me of my usual energy and I feel so much quieter, and calmer now than what I did in summer.

I hope there will be more sunny days in the near future, I miss both daylight and the light of sparkling, shining stars high up in the sky.

Now I really can’t wait for the last leaves to fall and the first frosty days to turn the landscape into a white glittering wonderland, like it was last year.
