Yesterday evening I drove around a bit to explore the area around Örnsköldsvik.

I found this remote road, leading deep into the forest. I stoped the car and got out to explore a bit of the forest nearby. It was beautiful in the evening light of the (seemingly) soon setting sun.

After spending some time there I got back into the car and drove the closest I could get to a nearby lake. The road was blocked, so I continued by foot. I noticed rather soon, that the area was full of mosquitoes and all of them started swarming me and trying to suck my blood.

Despite spraying me completely with mosquito spray and covering every part of my body, the mosquitoes didn’t keep away at all. Soon I got back to the car and decided to return some other time, equipped with different and hopefully better insect repellant.
